Plank Pushups
Plank Pushups | Nichole Mellison
Performing plank pushups combines planks and pushups. Adding the unstable surface with the Exercise Star makes this exercise even tougher! Move from your forearms in the plank to a regular pushup position, then return to a regular plank. Certified personal trainer and AbStar fitness model, Nichole Mellison, demonstrates. With her toes on an unstable surface, provided by the AbStar AIR, this is a tough exercise. The instability at her feet challenges her core to adjust to her changing center of gravity.
This exercise is very advanced. To Nichole’s credit, she did it on the first take! Work up to the plank pushups exercise by mastering unstable planks and unstable pushups separately first.
Watch Nichole for proper form and try to become as strong as she is!
